International Relations Office

International relations are one of the principal strategic pillars at the Applied Science Private University (ASU), due to their pivotal role in enhancing the university’s academic and research standing at both regional and international levels. The International Relations Office seeks to support the achievement of excellence and global competitiveness in the fields of higher education, scientific research, and innovation by building effective partnerships with prestigious universities and academic institutions around the world.

Through the International Relations Office, the university strives to establish an educational environment with an international dimension that supports the education and training of undergraduate and graduate students in a framework that enhances cultural diversity and academic openness. The development of international relations also contributes to instilling the values of diversity, equality, and participation by fostering awareness among students as well as academic and administrative staff of the importance of cultural plurality, respect for differences, and understanding the diverse needs of peoples and communities globally.

Participation in multicultural international programs enables students to engage with global issues and challenges and develop skills in critical thinking and constructive intercultural interaction, thereby reinforcing the values of inclusivity, community and cultural engagement, and contributing to consolidating the principles of social justice and building a more balanced and equitable global future.

The International Relations Office at the Applied Science Private University takes pride in its role in supporting diversity and promoting the principles of fairness and transparency by attracting international students to the campus, providing opportunities for study and academic exchange abroad, and supporting international cooperation and partnership programs. This approach reflects the rich cultural diversity at the university, which includes students from more than 50 different nationalities in bachelor’s and master’s programs.

The International Relations Office comprises three specialized units: the Joint International Programs Unit, the Scholarships and International Exchange Unit, and the International Students Affairs Unit, which work collectively to achieve the office’s objectives and support the university’s direction toward international academic excellence.
