Applied Science Private University (ASU) has achieved a new international milestone by being awarded the SMART Project, funded under the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) Programme. The project aims to integrate artificial intelligence technologies into education to support innovation and enhance learning in the fields of green energy and environmental sciences.
This achievement reflects ASU’s growing role in international academic cooperation projects and highlights its commitment to advancing innovation, digital transformation, and enhancing the quality of education. The project is implemented in partnership with academic institutions from the Netherlands, Jordan, Italy, the Czech Republic, and Tunisia.
With a total project budget exceeding €673,000, the project allocates more than €74,000 to Applied Science Private University. The university is represented in the project by Professor Mohammad Ahmad Hamdan, who serves as the Main Contact Person. Through its active participation in the project’s activities, ASU will further strengthen its international presence and reinforce its position as an active partner in European Union-funded projects and international academic cooperation programmes.
