​The Faculty Development Center at Applied Science Private University organized a specialized training workshop entitled “Jordanian Academic Program Accreditation” on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Ibn Al-Nafis Auditorium in the Faculty of Nursing. The workshop was attended by faculty deans, representatives from the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Office, the Deanship of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies, and the rapporteurs of quality assurance committees in the faculties.

The workshop was delivered by Dr. Ghadeer Al-Dweik, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, who presented the key requirements and procedures related to Jordanian Academic Program Accreditation. The workshop aimed to enhance the readiness of the faculties and support their efforts in meeting accreditation requirements in accordance with the approved national standards.

The workshop included a detailed explanation of the process for completing the self-study report required for Jordanian Academic Program Accreditation. It also covered the six accreditation standards, along with the evidence and documentation required for each standard. In addition, best practices for organizing and archiving supporting evidence and documents were discussed to ensure easy accessibility and efficient submission within the self-study report.

The workshop witnessed active engagement from participants, with fruitful discussions addressing various inquiries and challenges related to the implementation of accreditation standards and documentation requirements. These discussions contributed to strengthening the culture of quality assurance and supporting the continuous improvement of academic programs across the University.

This workshop is part of the Faculty Development Center’s ongoing efforts to support the University’s strategic plans aimed at enhancing academic quality and improving higher education outcomes in alignment with the requirements of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission and the national standards for academic accreditation.
