College of Allied Medical Sciences at ASU signed a cooperation agreement with the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Pécs in Hungary.

As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance clinical training and scientific research, and in line with its plans to provide high-quality clinical training opportunities for students, the College of Allied Medical Sciences at Applied Science University signed a cooperation agreement with the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Pécs in Hungary.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the College of Allied Medical Sciences by its Dean, Prof. Wameed Talib, and on behalf of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Pécs by its Dean, Prof. Pongrácz A.
The agreement aims to activate academic and research collaboration between the two institutions and to provide clinical training opportunities for students of the College of Allied Medical Sciences in Hungarian healthcare institutions. It also grants priority to the college’s students in pursuing postgraduate studies at the University of Pécs and includes the activation of joint supervision of postgraduate theses.
The agreement was signed during an official ceremony held at the University of Pécs, attended by representatives of the university presidency, the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, the spokesperson of the Hungarian Parliament, as well as a number of faculty members and postgraduate students. Applied Science University was represented at the ceremony by Prof. Wameed Talib, Dean of the College, and Dr. Aseel Abu Al-Rub, Vice Dean and Head of the Physical Therapy Department.
It is worth noting that the University of Pécs is one of the oldest universities in Europe, having been founded in 1367, and is distinguished by its advanced research capabilities and high-level training programs.
This agreement comes as part of a series of training agreements signed by the College of Allied Medical Sciences, aiming to develop students’ practical skills and familiarize them with healthcare systems in various countries around the world.
