The Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences was established in 2022 and includes two departments: the Department of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics and the Department of Physiotherapy. The Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences is one of the leading colleges in health sciences in Jordan, distinguished by its partnerships with the health sector in the Kingdom to provide the highest standards of training for its applications. The college includes a distinguished academic staff keen to enable students to acquire a healthy mix of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in a supportive educational environment, in addition to equipping it with the latest educational facilities and laboratories, as part of its endeavor to excel and improve education and training for its students and prepare a generation of qualified and distinguished graduates scientifically and practically.
Dear Students,
It is with great pleasure that I extend a warm welcome to all of you to the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences at Applied Science Private University. As the Dean, I am delighted to welcome you to a faculty dedicated to fostering excellence in the fields of healthcare and allied sciences.
Our faculty offers three distinguished undergraduate programs: BSc in Physiotherapy, BSc in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, and BSc in Medical and Clinical Laboratory Technology, along with a Master’s program (MSc) in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics. These programs have been meticulously crafted to meet both national and international standards, ensuring that our graduates are well-prepared for the evolving challenges of the global healthcare landscape.
A hallmark of our faculty is our strong commitment to international collaboration. We have established partnerships with prestigious universities around the world, including the University of Exeter, Central Queensland University, and the University of Valencia. These collaborations provide opportunities for clinical exchange and teaching exchange, enabling both our students and faculty to engage in cutting-edge research and gain valuable global experiences.
Our programs are also nationally and internationally accredited, demonstrating our dedication to quality education. Notably, our BSc in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics is accredited by the British Association for Nutrition (AfN), ensuring that our graduates meet the highest professional standards.
Furthermore, our state-of-the-art laboratories and practical rooms are equipped with advanced digital technologies to facilitate experiential learning and research in digital health. These facilities not only serve as hubs for practical education but also as incubators for innovative research that contributes to advancements in various health fields.
In addition, I am proud to announce the presence of our dedicated Office for Career Development for Medical Sciences Students. This unique office is designed to guide and support our students as they embark on their professional journeys, ensuring they are well-equipped to pursue careers regionally and internationally. Our goal is to empower our students to obtain practice licenses and excel in diverse healthcare settings around the world.
