The Faculty of Nursing was established as a department in the Faculty of Medical Sciences in 1992; and started as independent faculty in 2006. The faculty of Nursing established a clinical master program which started 2013-2014 by which it is the first program accredited among all other private universities.Faculty of Nursing Departments:

The Faculty of Nursing offers a distinct atmosphere of study. It deals with students on a strong academic basis. The departments provide courses according to the study plan including both theoretical and practical subjects. The faculty of nursing aims to improve the students’ skills by the use of problem solving techniques, the use of scientific research and focuses on self-development and performance improvement. It stresses on the importance of obtaining new and updated knowledge in order to keep successful changes in health field at all levels locally, regionally and globally.

The Faculty of nursing started as a department in 1992, and was established as a faculty in the academic year 2006- 2007 with well-equipped innovative teaching environment including all advanced teaching resources and simulation lab. In 2013-2014 a clinical nursing master program which is the first among all other private universities.
The Faculty of Nursing is a dynamic and evolving sector of education. It is committed to graduating professional nurses through an interactive education that promotes the application of recent knowledge and advanced skills which aimed to improve the quality of health care for individuals, families and communities. The program considers the needs for the students from different culture backgrounds. We welcome students from all countries to enroll in our Baccalaureate and Master’s degrees in nursing. The students have the opportunities to develop their personal and professional competences by active learning in small groups and appropriate class size for the enhancement of teaching- learning process. Students have the chances to participate in extracurricular activities and community service programs. In addition, the Faculty work in collaboration with different universities facilities to meet the competences required in the market.
The faculty members demonstrate excellence in nursing education, practice, research and community participation. We are all dedicated to work with team spirit to achieve the mission and goals at both the University and the Faculty levels. The Faculty of Nursing supports the collaborative partnerships with national and international universities and organizations and aims at improving performance in order to ensure that the outcomes of the program meets the needs of the market. This can be achieved by enrollment in both national and international accreditations.
