The Faculty of Arts and Design at Applied Science Private University organized the “Design Highlights-9” event
The Faculty of Arts and Design at Applied Science Private University organized the “Design Highlights-9” event, which served as an integrated artistic and knowledge-based platform bringing together faculty students with a distinguished group of academics and specialists in various design fields, amid strong student attendance and notable engagement. The event featured more than ten specialized workshops covering interior design, graphic design and digital media, fashion and accessories design, in addition to applied artistic activities, all of which focused on enhancing practical skills, keeping pace with labor market requirements, and transferring professional expertise directly to students.
The workshops addressed diverse themes, including architectural heritage preservation, furniture design, sustainability, the psychology of interior spaces, building professional portfolios, digital game development, animation and virtual reality, as well as digital textile printing and fabric selection, in addition to open artistic activities that resulted in the production of mural artworks to be displayed within the college facilities.
The event concluded with honoring the participating speakers in appreciation of their contributions, while students expressed their appreciation for this distinctive experience, which contributed to deepening their practical understanding and strengthening the link between academic learning and professional practice, reaffirming the college’s role in providing a stimulating educational environment that embraces creativity and opens horizons for development and innovation.
